Advanced Telemetry is a developer of the EcoView smart energy and resource management system for business and residential applications.

The multiunit operator field tested the EcoView Commercial system in 15 of its Taco Bell restaurants for an average nine months per location.

Steve Dees, chief operating officer of Cotti Foods Corp., said, “With such a large number of restaurants, the ability to remotely monitor, control and limit access to our climate control systems will ensure that our facilities are comfortable while at the same time efficiently operated. And, while the system itself is affordably priced, this large-scale deployment will be even more cost-effective via rebate incentives we’ve qualified to receive from our local utility, Southern California Edison.”

EcoView features a fully remotely managed managed end-to-end solution that facilitates lower energy use for networked businesses, resulting in considerable monetary savings and a smaller carbon footprint. Other features include:

* On-site “dashboard” touch panel for local control of thermostat settings within limits predefined by Advanced Telemetry and the customer
* Web-based interface for real-time reporting and remote thermostat control
* Centralized, remote control of thermostats including set points, schedules, and heating and cooling limits that eliminates suboptimal local control
* Dedicated Advanced Telemetry account specialists charged with monitoring customers’ locations for energy usage anomalies and continually examining thermostat settings for optimal performance and savings
