“The Raleigh and Cherry Hill stores further extend our footprint on the East Coast, and the Grand Rapids store will be our first in the Midwest, which is very exciting,” said Jim Belanger, president of Gamer Doc. “Despite the tough economy, our franchisees recognize that the video game industry is a bright spot in retail. Although there’s been weakness in new game and consoles sales, cash-conscious consumers are spending money on game rentals, used games and console repairs, and Gamer Doc is the only video game retailer that offers all of those services.”

In addition to the Raleigh store, there are Gamer Docs open in Bear, Delaware; Burlington, Ontario; Highland Park, California; Miami, Florida; and Springfield, Pennsylvania.
