Win A Franchise With Mr. Greek
Mr. Greek has come up with its own economic stimulus package.
The Toronto-based quick-service chain is planning to waive its initial franchise fee of about $35,000 for one new franchisee as part of a new contest.
Vicki Raios, director of franchising and corporate communications for Mr. Greek, said the company is running the contest to combat the “doom and gloom” of the recession and get people thinking about starting their own businesses again.
“Sometimes you have people who are fantastic and ready to get into business, but they need a little nudge,” Raios said. “This is our answer to that.”
Partnering with the National Franchise Show will give Mr. Greek a platform to increase involvement in the contest with entrepreneurs who are already looking for a franchise, said Raios.
“With such an aggressive campaign and such a huge opportunity, it will give us the chance to expose ourselves to people who might not have considered Mr. Greek their top choice,” she said.
Potential franchisees can enter the contest by visiting Mr. Greek’s booth at the National Franchise and Business Opportunities Show Sept. 12 and 13 in Toronto, or by visiting TorontoFranchiseShow.com. Each entrant must fill out an application and write a short essay explaining why they deserve a Mr. Greek franchise.
