Company Negotiates To Reopen Denny’s
G.B. Restaurants, higley, Ariz., is negotiating to lease the now-closed Denny’s location at 1142 Arsenal St. with owner Cnl Net Lease Funding 2003 LLC, Orlando, Fla.
G.B. Restaurants is owned by Glenn A. and Tina M. Beattie. They operate 33 Denny’s franchises, many in new york.
“We are not quite to the finish line yet,” Mrs. Beattie said Wednesday. “We’re about 80 percent of the way there.”
She said if they worked out a lease agreement, the franchisee would renovate the location and hire between 50 and 60 employees. The location could open as soon as July.
